UW-Stout Blue Devil Invitational!

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:

ENTRY FEE:
$50 per team

ENTRY DEADLINE:
Monday, October 3rd

FORMAT:
The World Team Tennis (WTT) format is used - men's and women's singles, men's and women's doubles and one mixed doubles.  A team match consists of five 6-game no-ad sets with a 9 point set tiebreak at 5 games all.  Overtime and Super tiebreakers will be played in this event.  See "captain's scoring guide" online for details.

CAPTAIN'S MEETING:
Saturday, October 8th, 8:00 AM. 

SCHEDULE OF PLAY:
Match play begins immediately after the captain's meeting.

TEAMS RECEIVE:
Hours and hours of play in a safe environment.
 
TEAM COMPOSITION:
All teams must consist of a minimum of 4 players (2 men, 2 women) and maximum of 10.  All players must meet the below eligibility.

PLAYER ELIGIBILITY:
Players must be enrolled for a minimum of 1/2 full-time enrollment (at least 6 credit hours at most institutions and graduate students for 6 credit hours.  Players MAY NOT be a member of the 2011/2012 varsity tennis team.  ONE former varsity player may be on a team.  Players who enter the tournamnet should expect play at a 3.0 NTRP rating and higher.  Please review the NTRP Guidelines that were emailed out to your club president.
